DIESEL GENERATORS

For many years, stand-by diesel generators have been used when the mains supply fails, to supply light and power to public buildings, as well as hospitals and factories.
This major investment is used only a few hours per year and because diesel is expensive the diesel generators are not used continuously. Conversion to dual fuel using natural gas from the pipeline can turn this expensive stand-by unit into an excellent investment.
Natural gas is cheaper than diesel and because it is a cleaner fuel it reducers pollution.

Cost Savings

The DieselGas dual fuel system can replace 85% to 90% of the diesel with natural~l gas meaning the electricity generated is cheaper than the mains supply. A dual fuel engine has a higher thermal efficiency than a dedicated gas engine and this adds to the savings.

The DieselGas system also allows you to make greater savings through applying co generation heat recovery systems to supply hot water and steam where this is applicable.

Advanced Electronic Technology

The DieselGas Technician Interface software allow the. operator to monitor the system via a computer screen. All of the 15 to 20 monitored activities can be displayed along with the ability for trained technicians to recover and graphically analyse the engines performance. The system is fitted with fault detection and self diagnostics. If there is a fault or a shortage of gas the system automatically switches back to diesel operation.
