DIESEL GENERATORS

For many years, stand-by diesel generators have been used when the mains supply fails, to supply light and power to public buildings, as well as hospitals and factories.
This major investment is used only a few hours per year and because diesel is expensive the diesel generators are not used continuously. Conversion to dual fuel using natural gas from the pipeline can turn this expensive stand-by unit into an excellent investment.
Natural gas is cheaper than diesel and because it is a cleaner fuel it reducers pollution.

	Cost Savings The DieselGas dual fuel system can replace 85% to 90% of the diesel with natural~l gas meaning the electricity generated is cheaper than the mains supply. A dual fuel engine has a higher thermal efficiency than a dedicated gas engine and this adds to the savings. The DieselGas system also allows you to make greater savings through applying co generation heat recovery systems to supply hot water and steam where this is applicable.
