Project management

Over more than 20 years DieselGas has managed projects in every continent of the world. All of the work DieselGas has undertaken for the past 18 years has been undertaken for companies based outside New Zealand. This has meant developing strong project management skills and processes.

Specialist staff

DieselGas staff are experienced in managing prototype engine and vehicle commissioning projects. Some larger projects require other specialist skill and on some occasions specialist staff are employed to undertake other project management roles. DieselGas works closely with a number of other New Zealand companies involved in alternative fuels work. Compressor and dispenser manufacture, petrol engine mixers design and manufacture, engine design and consultancy services (including project management) are represented.

Language

Often the first language of our clients is not English. DieselGas has learned to manage projects successfully in different language and cultural environments.

Reporting

Good project management is about having good plans, management and reporting. Each project contract sets out the goals and conditions. Every project also has a requirement specification document setting out the details of the engine development programme and this include milestones of progress. DieselGas report regularly to clients on project progress compared to the plan, highlighting any significant changes or difficulties in progress. Often client engineers are present at DieselGas during the engine development programme.

Training

Client engineers are often present during application engineering programme. This allows more effective understanding of the engine system, development process and management. This allow for straight forward commissioning of prototype systems in engine manufacturers factory facilities or client workshops throughout the world.

The DieselGas engine controllers allow data to be recorded automatically or manually and the DGTech graphic interface programme allows DieselGas or client engineers to analyse data and communicate easily this the factory. The means projects can be well managed and supported by DieselGas anywhere in the world.
