DieselGas offer dual fuel engine development services. This includes dual fuel engine design and the development of engine controllers and specialist gas engine components for low emissions engines.
Dual fuel engine development
Dual fuel engine development is the conversion of diesel engines that operate using diesel for pilot ignition with the main power coming from compressed natural gas (CNG). Over 25 years DieselGas has developed more than 20 different dual fuel engine types.
The DieselGas dual fuel system uses the ST10 engine management controller and DGTech technician interface programme plus purpose designed hardware and other mass produced components. As part of the development of each engine type application engineering development allows the engine to operate at 85% to 90% gas at full load and to meet strict emissions standards. [more]
Engine controller
development
DieselGas offers electronic hardware and software development using in house engineers. The SGS Thompson ST10 276 microprocessor used in all DieselGas ECU’s was develop by the DieselGas team.
The DGTech technician interface GUI programme has also been developed by DieselGas. The DGTech graphical interface programme allows technicians to analyse fault logs and diagnostic logs. Historical and driving cycle data is analysed and communicated electronically to the DieselGas factory [more].
Project management
Over more than 25 years DieselGas
has managed projects in every continent of the world.
The engine development facilities in New Zealand allows
efficient and cost effective engine development. Prototype
systems are prepared for commissioning in engine manufacturers
factory facilities or client workshops throughout the
world.
The DieselGas ECU engine controllers allow data to be recorded
automatically or manually and the DGTech graphic interface
programme allows DieselGas or client engineers to analyse
data and communicate easily this the factory. The means
projects can be well managed and supported anywhere
in the world. [more]
